Explore the village and surroundings of Senet<\/h1>\n

The village of Senet is a welcoming high mountain village (1,340m) through which the river flows and is located in the centre of three valleys, the Aran Valley, the Bo\u00ed Valley and the Benasque Valley. Nearby we find charming places such as the Aiguestortes National Park, the route through the Romanesque churches of Boh\u00ed-Taull, the well-known villages of the Aran Valley and the Posets-Maladeta National Park.<\/p>\n

Nearby, you can do activities such as hiking, high mountain (with peaks of 3,000m), skiing, via ferrata, canyoning, zip-lining, rafting, kayaking, hydrospeed and paragliding.<\/p>\n

Currently the village has 40 inhabitants<\/strong> There are about ten houses permanently inhabited throughout the year. During the winter and summer holidays, the village fills up with other Senetinos and Senetinas who have a second home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It is a place tranquilo y alejado de la contaminaci\u00f3n ac\u00fastica y ambiental;<\/strong> rural. In fact, the road does not pass through the village and the streets are pedestrianised.<\/strong> The scarce presence of cars and the calm atmosphere is what has led two summer camp houses to establish themselves there.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The village of Senet is not only crossed by the Way of St. James but also by the river Noguera Ribagor\u00e7ana<\/strong>, where the most daring people bathe in summer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is also an information and interpretation centre for the Parc Nacional d'Aig\u00fcestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. In the middle of the village you will find the Romanesque church of Santa Cec\u00edlia, which was built in the 11th century.<\/strong> and still retains its essence today. A 1.9 km we have the village of Aneto,<\/strong> a small town where the nearest restaurant is located. The nearest other shopping centres are located at Vilaller (10' by car), Vielha (20' by car) or Pont de Suert (20' by car).<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
