Senet is a small mountain village, located at 1,340 meters above sea level, which belongs to l'Alta Ribagor\u00e7a, a Catalan region bordered to the north by Vall d'Aran, to the south by Pallars Juss\u00e0, to the east by Pallars Sobir\u00e0. and to the west with Aragon.<\/span><\/p>

Currently the town has 40 registered inhabitants, but approximately ten houses are permanently inhabited during the year. During winter or summer vacations, the town is filled with other senetinos and senetinas who have their second homes.<\/span><\/p>

It is a quiet place and away from noise and environmental pollution; most rural. In fact, the road does not go through the town and the streets are pedestrianized. The scarce presence of cars and calm that is breathed is what has led two summer camp houses to settle there.<\/span><\/p>

Not only does the Camino de Santiago pass through the town of Senet, but also the Noguera Ribagor\u00e7ana river, where the most daring people bathe in summer.<\/span><\/p>

We also find an information and interpretation centre of the Parc Nacional d'Aig\u00fcestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici. In the middle of the town is the Romanesque church of Santa Cec\u00edlia, which was built in the 11th century and still retains its essence today. At 1.9 km we have the town of Aneto, a small town where the closest restaurant is. The other closest shopping centers are found in Vilaller (10\u2032 by car), Vielha (20\u2032 by car) or Pont de Suert (20\u2032 by car).<\/span><\/p>
