30' from the village by car we arrive at the car park of La Farga, from where we can drive to the famous National Park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici.
Created on 21 October 1955, it is one of the natural spaces included in the Network of Spanish National Parks and the only one of this category in Catalonia.
Within its surface area of almost 40,000 hectares, all the characteristic elements of the high mountain are well represented. Of this area, 14,119 hectares correspond strictly to the National Park, which is divided into two distinct sectors: Aigüestortes in Alta Ribagorça, accessible from the Vall de Boí and Sant Maurici, and Pallars Sobirà, which has an entrance through the valley of Espot.
If you would like more information about Aigüestortes National Park and check the different activities offered, you can go to the Casa del Parc de Boí or to the Senet Information Center. Information to:

We recommend a visit to Vielha, the capital of the Vall d'Aran. There you will find the Palau de Gel, the Museu de Llana and the Museu de la Vall. There is also the well-known and charming walk through Artiga de Lin; a very short and circular excursion that goes along the sources of the river Joèu. Some charming villages in the valley to visit are Bossost, Salardú, Bagergue, Bausén, Les and Arties.
A little further away, one hour from the village of Senet, we find the Vall de Benasque, located in the province of Huésca, Aragó. There, you can visit the villages of the Aragonese Pyrenees and you will also find many medium and high mountain hikes, as well as the ski slopes of Cerler.
